Clearly, I’m taking advantage of the polka dot trend this season. It’s such a classic print that you can wip out at any time of the year and any season. I especially love this print on these wide leg culotte pants that I bought from Jennyfleur Loves – the fabric moves so beautifully and gives my outfit a boho chic feel.

Culottes describes a split or divided skirt or any garment which “hangs like a skirt, but is actually pants. During the Victorian Era (mid- to late-nineteenth century) long split skirts were developed for horseback riding so that women could sit astride a man’s saddle rather than riding side saddle.
