LOTUS PURE ORGANICS Pressed Powder Foundation ***1/2

Lotus pressed powder foundation is amazing, certified organic, and it is easy to use. I was not a fan of powder form foundations before using this product, I found them cakey and fake looking or they would not provide me with enough coverage to correct my skin. This pressed powder is a treat to use considering I couldn’t feel it on my skin and it was very easy to layer and blend with my Kabuki brush.I also found that it provided me with a beautiful base for my blush and made it even easier to blend. This product made my work on-set a breeze when I needed to quickly correct oiliness and shine. My friends and co-workers are constantly asking me if I am wearing makeup or I just have perfect skin since the foundation is seamless and light. I have extremely sensitive skin and have broken out in eczema after using many products, but my skin was clear even after accidentally sleeping with this on.

This Pressed Mineral Foundation SPF 20 provides sheer coverage for a soft, natural finish. With all the same skincare benefits of their Loose Foundation pressed in an elegant compact for added convenience.

Micronized titanium dioxide and zinc oxide provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection-SPF 20.

Recommended Use:

This product is easy to apply with a Kabuki brush or another tightly packed large firm brush. Simply brush on over T-zone and other desired correcting areas. Layer if you are wanting more coverage.

BIOTHERM Sensative Face Wash ****1/2

Yet another favorite for my sensitive face! This gel wash foams when applied with water, and one pea size dollop will suds up your whole face and neck! I had no problem removing make up etc when applying with just my hands. As I am objective to face washing in the sink (call me lazy or understand the unwanted excess water on counter, neck, hair, and shirt – perhaps a bit of both), I found this to be the perfect product used during my daily shower. A minute or two and I was rid of the daily dirt and lacking the usual irritation (both mental and physical) of regular cleansing.

1/2 As part of a prestige line you would expect it here, the gel texture worked easily, but there was nothing particularly “luxurious” about this product

Recommended Use:

1. Dampen face with warm water
2. Squeeze pea size amount of face wash into tips of fingers
3. Rub fingers together until lather begins, apply to face and neck in circular motions
4. Rinse thoroughly

Avoid eye contact

BIODERMA Sensibio H2O Micellar Solution ****1/4

This cleanser is tailored to sensitive skin and is a great way to clean up when you’re pressed for time. This product is so easy to use I can’t believe how well it works. Just use a little bit of this on a cotton pad to remove dirt, make up, and oil. Safe for face and eyes, even on the most sensitive skin.

Bioderma is a dermatological line from France. They proudly produce great products and maintain an awareness of sensitive skin. There are many molecule patents under this line and the science to back up their products. You won’t find much of this in Canada, but what you can is still great to get your hands on!

1. Apply cleanser to cotton pad
2. Wipe face with cotton pad, removing impurities
3. Repeat until cotton pad stays clean after wiping

BIODERMA Hydrabio Serum ****

Where do I start the praise on this product?

Bioderma claims this serum:
-Will raise hydration levels by 53% in 15 minutes
-Prepare the skin to absorb cream
-Combat dehydration peaks
-Deliver intense and immediate hydration

Conclusion: I restock this product the minute my current bottle shows signs of emptying out

I highly recommend this product to anyone experiencing dehydration. The gel like texture makes it a great product for all skin types – even oily. (Yes! You can have oily dehydrated skin!)

Bioderma is a dermatological line from France boasting many molecule patents and an awareness of sensitive skin. Personally this is one of my favorite product lines. This serum will absorb right into your skin and show results in as little as 15 min.
